Here we have a '59 Flying V, as it didn't exactly exist back then, but would have been just as eye-catching as the historically accurate Korina variant. Here, the body and neck are made of mahogany and come in a beautiful, dark "Sunshine Antique Natural" finish. In combination with the minimally aged gold hardware simply a killer look! As a player, you first feel more in 1958 than 59, because the neck here is a bit chunkier. Plays like butter thanks to perfectly dressed jumbo frets. Also the super light weight of just 3 kg is really fun in practice. Sound-wise, the two Custombucker bring the central basic character of the guitar to full advantage. Framed by tight basses and silvery highs, the clear "midrange honk" is especially fun when distorted. This is exactly how rock riffs and singing solo licks should sound!
