Gibson decided to make a strictly limited reissue in 2019, which was sold out in no time. We can offer you #054 of 100 copies built. And what can we say: the guitar keeps exactly what it promises visually. The slightly nasal sound of the mini humbucker is perfect for rock and blues. Without distortion it pearls surprisingly pleasant from the amp, the Firebird never sounds too harsh. Add to that the excellent responsiveness and sheer endless sustain - we wouldn't have thought how snappy the guitar can sound! The neck is definitely on the more chunky side, but still plays very comfortably. Conclusion: If you're looking for an all-around instrument, this is obviously not it. But if you want a rock'n'roll machine with a high collector's value, this Clapton Firebird is the right choice! Except for minimal playwear, the guitar is in top condition.
