Here we may present you a particularly beautiful specimen of the Gibson ES-355 purchased in 1997 by Noel Gallagher, the guitarist and songwriter of the band Oasis. Although this replica was issued by the Gibson Custom Shop in a limited edition of 200 pieces each guitar received its individual character through the aging of the Murphy Lab. On this specimen the cherry finish turned out a bit lighter, the aging of the neck back appears in a super authentic dark natural wood tone and the hardware attachments convince with a heavily yellowed golden vintage shine. The ES-355 comes with unpotted Custombuckers, Grover kidney tuners, Bigsby B7, as well as a reproduced handwritten lyric sheet, the certificate with Gallagher's original signature and a custom bear strap. With its maple body, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, a Varitone switch and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece this Semihollow delivers incredible versatility. It can sound fat and smacky, albeit with an extra dose of airiness in the sound, but also warm, round and open. Clean, as well as distorted a true experience for the ears!
