We are pleased to offer you a truly classy tone monster: a 1959 ES-355 in beautiful jet black VOS finish with gold hardware. Handmade in the Custom Shop in Nashville, it comes with Paper-In-Oil capacitors, unpotted Custombucker Alnico-III pickups, Hide-Glue and historic multi-ply binding. Three-ply body (maple, poplar, maple), mahogany neck, grippy Authentic '59 Medium C-shape neck profile and a gorgeous ebony fingerboard. But despite their highest quality appointments and perfect craftsmanship you don't have to dig quite as deep into your pocket for this regular Custom Shop model and get a fabulous ES experience. The neck is super comfortable in the hand and from the first notes you notice the substance that is in the sound of the guitar. Crisp and differentiated in attack, but with plenty of sustain and harmonics. At the amp, the Custombucker only bring out these qualities even more and ensure that you can not get out of the grin at all. The guitar is in top condition except for a few very small play marks. The frets have no play marks.
