We are delighted to be able to offer you this ES-335 Trini Lopez, a strictly limited CME special edition, that is the result of a collaboration between the Chicago Music Exchange and the Gibson Custom Shop. Special attention was paid to the selection of top wood, finish, fingerboard material, neck profile, pickups and hardware in order to produce this signature model of the Texan singer and guitarist as meticulously as possible. The neck profile, which feels like a slightly beefier '59 neck, is extremely comfortable to play and the cream-colored rosewood fingerboard looks great in combination with the Firebird headstock. The specially wound “CME Custom S Bucker” deliver the most beautiful sounds. A warm yet assertive sound that makes this Trini Lopez a first-class choice, especially for Blues to Hardrock. But with a turn of the tone control the guitar also delivers first-class Jazz and Funk sounds. Nice and bell-like on the neck without mud and mulch, smacking on the bridge, direct with a great response. Rhythm or lead? With this semi-hollow both are possible in top form!
