If you're looking for a new Gibson that looks like a real vintage guitar, it's best to go for the Murphy Lab models in the "Light Aging" version. Here you can find clear signs of use such as countless hairline cracks and minor quirks without the instrument looking like Rory Gallagher's Strat, which lay forgotten and unprotected in the bed of a creek for a week. This ES-335 is a prime example of that - yellowish faded binding, finish in deep dark Ebony with a fantastic vintage patina, beautifully matted and scratched in the significant areas!
