In 2004, one of the most famous guitars in the world was sold at a charity auction for $847,500: Eric Clapton's cherry-red Gibson ES-335, made famous mainly by his performances with Cream. In 2005, Gibson launched a limited-edition replica of the guitar, which is modelled on the original in every detail: from the specifications to the aging to the small Hare Krishna sticker on the back of the headstock. Even Clapton's serial number 67473 was stamped in again. The edition was sold out immediately and today this guitar is one of the most sought-after collector's models. We are happy to offer you the #109 - probably the only one in Germany at the moment. Even the case was copied from the original case, with the various Cream and EC imprints. And this guitar sounds excellent, plays great and feels really "old" in the hand. Gibson has captured the charm of the original perfectly. This is a must-have, as there are no more like it - especially not in such a great condition!
