Collectors and players watch out! Here we have a super rare Gibson ES-335 in Ebony with the original Tim Shaw pickups and ebony fingerboard. Only very few of the ES-335 were built in this version and they are almost impossible to find on the second-hand market. This rare example is still in very good condition for its 38 years. The frets are still in top condition, only the lower side of the body has been somewhat perpetuated by the guitar stand. The neck has a somewhat bigger profile, similar to the more modern '59 profile. It feels great in the hand and the feel of the guitar is really excellent. Top look in the Ebony finish with the original Grover tuners. The two Tim Shaw pickups with the original braided wire and the six hole baseplate show their best side at the amp. Fans of the classic old PAF sound will get their money's worth here. Not too much output, nice silky highs, warm without being muddy and smacking and open at the bridge pickup. I didn't want to put the guitar down when testing it. Absolute reference ES-335 with rarity value and great look!
