If you're looking for a new guitar that looks like most real vintage Gibsons, it's best to go for the Murphy Lab models in the "light aging" version. Here you will find obvious signs of use such as countless hairline cracks and minor quirks without the instrument being completely dented. This ES-335 is a prime example - we had to look twice to make sure that we are not looking at a real 1963! However, the guitar not only looks super authentic, it feels that way, too. The neck is not a Slim-taper neck, but comes with a healthy medium profile and with the aged finish you could really think that generations of musicians have played on it. Sound-wise there is nothing left to be desired here either. Already very woody and resonant without an amp the Custombuckers amplified provide a rich, warm but always open and airy sound that you want to hear from a top ES-335. If you want a super-authentic '63 ES, don't hesitate here. The "light aging" models are normally hard to find on the new and used market. All the more we are happy to be able to offer you this gem in mint condition.
