This gorgeous Gibson ES-335 represents a custom build for Musikhaus Hermann as part of Gibson's "Made to Measure" program, again with very special Hermann specs of course. The first thing that catches your eye is the fantastic look. Noble Ebony, paired with the fantastic Authentic Aging of the Murphy Lab, which corresponds to the so rare Light Aging and not only results in a perfect vintage patina, but is also a special treat haptically. The Custom Shop and Jörg Hermann have of course again paid close attention to the selection of the woods, so that this ES-335 comes with an absolute dream weight of only 3368 grams. Attention was also paid to historically correct features: Hide-Glue for gluing the neck-body joint, the rosewood fingerboard is of course made of only one piece and the cream-colored binding was made according to the specifications of 1959 with old machines from the 50s. But the absolute highlight are the phenomenal split-parallelogram inlays of the fingerboard. Beautiful and very rare! The "MHH 1963 Taper" neck profile fits perfectly in the hand and guarantees best playability. Furthermore we have to mention the unpotted Custombucker Alnico-III with True-Historic covers. Nice and crisp in the attack, fat in the mids and super defined in the bass, these pickups bring everything you know and love from old PAFs. And because this semi-hollow is already an absolute vibration monster when played dry you really get an ES-335 for life. We are happy to offer you this dream guitar in mint, nearly unplayed condition.
