This Gibson ES-335 is a special production for Musikhaus Hermann, of course with very special Hermann-Specs. First of all the phenomenal finish catches the eye. Beautiful color finish in Antique Wine Red, perfected with Murphy Lab's fantastic Authentic Aging, which penetrates virtually every pore and results in an incredible look and feel. The Custom Shop and Jörg Hermann paid close attention to the selection of woods here, resulting in this ES-335 coming in at a dream weight of just 3650 grams. The F-holes received a magical cream binding, historically correct the neck-body joint was glued with hide-glue, the rosewood fingerboard is of course made of only one piece and the binding was produced according to the 1959 specifications with old machines from the 50s. The 59 C-shape neck profile also fits perfectly in the hand and guarantees best playability. As a very special highlite are the unpotted MHH Customerbuckers to mention. Especially the MHH Murphy Spec Underwound Neck Custombucker provides historic sounds: pearly, radiant highs and pushing mids with the special airy openness in the sound that you know and love from old Semihollows.
