Here we have quite a rarity from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. This is noticeable at first glance, because such a strong flame on the top and bottom is really not found in ES-335s every day. But also "under the hood" we are not dealing with a typical ES. Built in here are the ultra-rare E-Buckers, which were only produced for a short time and come with fewer windings than the usual Custombucker. These sound nice and crisp and have just the right amount of Strat that makes the guitar really funky. The extra treble provides pearly cleans and assertive distortion sounds - but at the neck you still have enough warmth for jazz and blues. Simply a great mix! In addition, the previous owner has made some upgrades. The bridge thumbwheels were replaced with 50s replicas and the polepiece screws were replaced with PAF 1010 steel replicas (originals included). The guitar comes with slight signs of use in the varnish, but is overall in top condition. With exactly 3,8kg it also comes with a top weight!
