We are delighted to be able to offer you this ES-335 from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, which is the fantastic result of Jörg Hermann's collaboration with the guys from the Murphy Lab and is therefore equipped with a variety of MHH upgrades. The phenomenal finish immediately catches the eye. Beautiful paint finish in the custom color "Antique Viking Red", completed with the fantastic and extremely rare Authentic Light Aging of the Murphy Lab, which penetrates virtually every pore and results in an incredible look and feel. The Custom Shop and Jörg Hermann have paid close attention to the selection of woods, resulting in this ES-335 with an ideal weight of 3750 grams. The varnish used is a development by Tom Murphy himself, which guarantees more "freedom to breathe", is ultra-thin and simply authentic. Even when played dry you notice the sustain and the resonance of the entire guitar body - growling basses, wiry mids, radiant highs. The true potential of the guitar is then revealed at the amplifier. The unpotted Alnico-III Custombuckers are modeled on old PAFs and perfectly reproduce the complexity of the originals. With higher gain settings on the amp all classic sounds from Eric Clapton to Billy Gibbons and Gary Moore can be covered. The bridge pickup offers the clean "Tele on stereoids" sound of old bursts - fat, punchy basses and biting but never shrill highs. Depending on the attack intensity and gain setting the mids can range from restrained to bold! The perfect balance between the two pickups should also be emphasized. The best playability is guaranteed by the optimized "Authentic '63 Medium C" neck profile, which makes this semi-hollow a dream player all round. The guitar comes to its future owner in mint condition.
