When you first open the case on this ES you'll notice the wonderfully authentic faded cherry and the beautiful, even grain that shows through the thin lacquer. Combined with Gibson's in-house VOS finish this gives the guitar a super authentic vintage look. This must have been what it looked like when you opened the case of a red ES in 1963. If you then take the guitar in your hand, a distinct feeling of well-being sets in right away. Pleasant medium neck, somewhere between 59 and 60 neck, which plays extremely comfortable. Tonally this Semi-Hollow is very round, differentiated and has a great tone. And the era-appropriate block inlays put the final icing on the fantastically successful look. Simply an outstanding player with the appearance of a real old one, a pleasant weight of only 3455 grams and a really top sound. We are happy to be able to offer you this desirable complete package including the frets in top condition.
