This classic square-shoulder acoustic guitar was handcrafted by the highly skilled luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana. It is a stunning piece of craftsmanship both sonically and visually. The X-braced Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back and sides are joined by a multi-ply binding, which like the rosette is adorned with beautiful abalone inlays. The slim, super comfortable maple neck with a round profile comes with the characteristic Dove scale length (25 1/2") and provides exceptional resonance. But the absolute highlight here is of course the characteristic Dove inlays that adorn this guitar in a very special way: there are seven Doves on the headstock, 16 on the bound ebony fingerboard, three on the pickguard and two flanking the bridge. The sound of this acoustic is also more than convincing with powerful, clear and focused tones. Extremely open and direct with pearly highs, present and transparent with a super response. All in all an iconic instrument with a historic look, great player characteristics and the typical Dove sound, which we can offer you in top condition.
