The original Dove was born in the turbulent 60s and served as the basis for numerous revolutionary songs of that time. Therefore this Dove is of course an absolute highlite for every collector in more ways than one! But also players will have their joy here. The instrument plays superbly and sounds fantastic! Specs: Sitka spruce top in Antique Natural, maple back and sides in beautiful Cherry Sunburst finish, maple neck with comfortable C-profile, Grover tuners, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, as well as a tortoise pickguard with the namesake dove inlay. In addition this Dove offers a special treat in that it features the L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup making it ready for professional stage use at any time.Tonally it is very open and direct with pearly highs, present and transparent with a super response.
