Here we have a Limited 1964 Custom Shop Relic Telecaster where everything is just right, from the look to the sound and playability. The guitar is also in fantastic condition and the frets have virtually no signs of wear. Nevertheless it is very well played and resonates excellently. The neck has a pleasant medium C-profile and a selected, particularly dark rosewood fingerboard. 9.5” radius and 6105 Medium/Jumbo frets ensure the best playability. The pickups used are a "Custom Shop Broadcaster" on the bridge and a "Twisted Tele" on the neck. In addition, a bone nut was installed by the factory on this limited series. The top relicing is super authentic. And the finish in "Lake Placid Blue" is also a perfect match. The amp is where it gets really cool. This Tele has a super attack and responds very quickly. But it never gets thin or shrill. The neck pickup is beautifully bell-like and bluesy. It rocks really well at the bridge ...Tele at it's best! Simply a super player Tele with a few additional extras. The previous owner has soldered the somewhat impractical Limited circuit back to a classic Tele circuit, which makes the guitar immediately ready for use. In addition it is a great lightweight.
