This unusual Telecaster is a replica of the guitar Eric Clapton played at Blind Faith's debut concert in London's Hyde Park on June 7, 1969. Because he simply liked the feel of the guitar more, Clapton had screwed the neck of his '56 "Brownie" Stratocaster to the body of the 1964 Telecaster Custom. In a limited edition of 50, masterbuilder Todd Krause recreated every detail of the original. The guitar comes in a lightly aged Journeyman finish, and every one of Clapton's playing marks was also replicated on the 7.25" radius maple fingerboard. With the two 63 Tele singlecoils, the guitar resonates exactly as you would expect from a high-end Tele, and the neck with its custom "Soft V" profile plays like a dream. As a special treat, in addition to the usual case candies, a second certificate signed by Clapton is included. The guitar is in mint condition.
