This very rare 1963 Relic Tele Custom in Black has been through a lot of rock n roll. It was the tour guitar of Boss Hoss guitarist Russ T. Rocket. In addition to the Factory Relic job, it has a lot of tour mojo and natural relecing. And what a true country rock n roll guitarist is, he also has the belt buckle to go with it, and it has been properly immortalized on the back. This guitar has soul, is very well tuned and has a very nice weight of 3220 grams. It is completely original and the frets have been re-trued, so it is ready to play! The specs of this limited edition Tele are as follows: Medium Vintage C-Profile Neck with 9,5" radius and 6105 frets and Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups. Sonically simply a Tele highlight! Sounds like it's been played for 20 years, nicely balanced with just the right attack and that slight compression that good Teles get over time. The neck feels great in the hand and has a pleasant flat to medium profile, so optimal for those who are the 50's and Nocaster Necks too thick. Super player with a great look! Included is a letter from Russ T. Rocket confirming that it is the Boss Hoss Tour guitar.
