Here we have a really rare 1972 Fender Telecaster Custom in mild Closet Classic finish. Only minimal traces like light matting indicate the vintage look here. The whole thing in authentic Seafoam Green and as a contrast with a black pickguard and black witch hats. To expand the sound variety like Stones guitarist Keith Richards in the 70s a humbucker (FWR NK 72 Tele) was installed on the neck here. Combined with a Twisted Tele at the bridge this delivers a killer sound. The neck pickup - created by pickup guru Seth Lover - offers the balanced sound of the legendary PAF humbuckers and at the bridge you get everything you want sonically from an exceptional Tele: twang, attack, belly and classy tone. But especially the combination of the two can fully convince: balanced, at the neck of course a little fatter, in the intermediate position no mud at all but super defined. And this guitar also plays really well. The 1969-U neck profile feels great in the hand and, in conjunction with the tried-and-true 6105 frets, invites hours of fretboard running. Here you really get everything you could wish for: an extraordinary look, great playing characteristics, a fantastic, multi-faceted sound and a pinch of rarity value! We are happy to offer you this Telecaster including frets in top condition.
