When it comes to sound and playability, Paul Waller is one of our favorite masterbuilders in the Fender Custom Shop. Also with this 63 Tele Custom you feel immediately just incredibly comfortable. The fingers just slide over the neck and the guitar delivers a twangy, but always pleasant and balanced Tele sound without much time to get used to and screw on the amp. A look at the spec sheet reveals why. The neck comes with the typical 9'5" fingerboard radius and 6105 jumbo frets, but also with the slim "Modern C" neck profile - hence the buttery smooth feel. As pickups two Handwound 63 Tele singlecoils are installed, which transmit the very balanced basic character of the guitar 1:1 to the amp. In addition, we also like the look here exceptionally well. Because even if - or just because - here the relicing is not particularly strong, the appearance exactly matches the vibe of the real vintage Tele from this era. Especially the hue of the two-tone sunburst and the eggshell pickguard are just bull's-eyes here. We are happy to offer you this guitar in top condition!
