The neck with the grippy "60 Style Oval C" profile gives the guitar a response and resonance that you don't experience every day, even in the masterbuilt sector. The pickups used here are a "Handwound Twisted Tele" single oil on the neck and a "Handwound OBG" singlecoil (Original Blackguard) on the bridge, which prove to be the perfect combination. Classic Tele sound: nice and direct at the bridge, wiry, fat with a great attack, but always round and never too sharp. Twang at its best! Wonderfully bell-like in the intermediate position and simply fantastic Blues on the neck. Fat, differentiated, bell-like - a perfect Tele sound that is convincing across the board, both clean and distorted.
