This Telecaster Custom by senior masterbuilder Dale Wilson is once again clear proof of why Dale is one of the most sought-after masterbuilders in the Fender Custom Shop with current waiting times of up to 10(!) years. So we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you this dream of a 1963 Telecaster Custom in the special color "Factory Black", which is equipped with all kinds of MHH upgrades as a special order for Musikhaus Hermann. The Authentic Heavy Relicing alone is an absolute exclamation mark. The wonderfully "weathered" finish is adorned with countless hairline cracks, major and minor blemishes and characteristic abrasions. Dale Wilson in absolute top form! The beautifully aged brown-shell pickguard, the wonderfully dark AAA rosewood fingerboard and the cream-colored double binding of the roasted alder body are a perfect match. And the playability of this Tele is also first class thanks to the 9.5'' fingerboard radius, a super comfortable "Custom Mid 60's Oval C" neck shape, a stripped back neck and the proven Narrow/Tall frets. In terms of sound, we are dealing with a super resonant vibration monster here. And this basic tonal tendency is transmitted to the amp in the finest possible way by the Josefina Handwounds. A "Twisted Tele" pickup on the neck provides pure Blues. Fat, differentiated and bell-like, fantastic both clean and distorted! A slightly hotter wound "Red Hot" pickup is used on the bridge, which is open, direct, wiry and has a great attack and sufficient mids, but always remains round and never too sharp. So, if you're looking for a "very special" Tele with a sound, playability and look that are not just above average, but phenomenal, this is the one for you. With such an attractive overall package, however, you probably shouldn't wait too long...
