Fender Telecaster 62 Relic Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka (2017)

For our taste we read the name Dennis Galuszka a little too rarely on the headstocks of the Masterbuilts that come to us. Because every time we are blown away by the quality of the instruments that the Fender veteran delivers! But even by Galuszka standards this '62 Relic Tele is an outstanding specimen. The specs don't look all that unusual at first: alder body, quarter-sawn mapleneck with 9.5” radius and 6105 frets and the classic mix of "Handwound Twisted Tele" singlecoil on the neck and "Handwound Broadcaster" on the bridge. But what Dennis has conjured up from the classic recipe is addictive from the very first note. Like most early 60s models the guitar has a rather percussive basic character and resonates so well that you can enjoy it even unamplified. Plug it into the amp and time just flies by. From funky single notes and snappy Country rhythm guitar without distortion to sizzling high-gain tones, this subtly reliced beauty covers all sounds in top form! Always incredibly defined and with plenty of attack, but never too harsh, this Tele flies through the styles with its very own character. A very comfortable “60s Oval C” neck profile and the light weight of less than 3.2 kg do the rest to ensure that you really can't stop playing.
