Lake Placid Blue - what a color! We were lucky enough to hold several guitars in this great color in our hands over the last few days. And every time we are just totally fascinated by this fantastic look. Especially in combination with the excellent aging of the Fender Custom Shop and the resulting hairline cracks and quirks in the right places the guitars are given a classy vintage patina. This is also the case with this Telecaster, which also comes with noble yellowed-white binding and is a great haptic pleasure as its neck with the 65-Strat C-profile and 10'' radius fits superbly in the hand and, together with the AAA rosewood fingerboard and 6105 frets, ensures playing comfort at its finest. The Handwound 63-Tele singlecoils deliver the best Tele twang, lively with sufficient mids, but never shrill or flashy. Extremely dynamic and transparent, fresh and lively with enough substance and warmth for bluesy and jazzy sounds. Simply an exceptional all-around telecaster that you won't want to put down. This guitar, which we can offer you in top condition, was originally delivered with a fingerboard made of Brazilian rosewood. However, in order to comply with the guidelines of the CITES regulation there was an immediate recall by Fender in 2015, whereupon a neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard was installed (certificate enclosed, see photo 21).
