Normally the American guitarist Mary Kaye is associated with a white-blonde Stratocaster with gold-colored hardware, which was Fender's first custom-made guitar to leave the factory in 1956. As this specific noble look is still very popular today Wildwood Guitars had a corresponding Telecaster interpretation made by masterbuilder Kyle McMillin. ...and what an awesome instrument it turned out to be! The heavy aged finish in “Faded/Aged Dirty White Blonde” enchants with its characteristic soft beige tone, which allows the attractive grain of the specially selected ash wood to shine through. The beautifully patinated gold hardware and the slinky maple fingerboard are a perfect match. And here we come to the individual features that make this WW10 special: the neck comes with a fantastic 10'' fingerboard radius, the comfortable “10/56 V” neck profile and the popular “Narrow/Tall” frets. It feels super comfortable in the hand and you won't want to stop bending and whizzing over the fretboard. Even when played dry the Tele is beautifully loud and resonant. But with electricity the specially handwound “WW10 Twisted Tele” singlecoils provide an incredibly bell-like sound that is really juicy both clean and distorted. A bright Tele twang with enormous brilliance without ever sounding sharp or thin. Smacky and powerful, but also transparent and extremely defined. And this Telecaster is also capable of blasting out full-blown Heavy Metal sounds that would make Motörhead happy. Everything really comes together here in the best possible way! We are delighted to be able to offer you this phenomenal symbiosis of classy looks, top playability and fat sounds in mint condition.
