It was a bitter blow for all fans of top-class Fender guitars when it was announced that Vincent van Trigt was leaving the Fender Custom Shop. The star masterbuilder's waiting list was so long that he had not been accepting orders for a long time. However, Musikhaus Hermann was at the top of the order list and received one of the last VVT-Blackguards, which is dated January 25, 2024. Now that this '52 Telecaster in Super Heavy Relic finish has found its way to us, we can say: what a masterpiece! We don't need to say much about the look - the pictures speak for themselves. Relicing doesn't get any better than this! But what really sets this Tele apart are its qualities as an instrument. The sound character of this guitar corresponds exactly to its look. Above all, you're dealing with a rocking Tele that delivers the best twang for every hard riff. This is ensured by a “Handwound Texas Special” singlecoil on the bridge and a “Handwound Red Hot Tele” on the neck. With clean sounds or low gain these already deliver the best Tele sound with a wonderful attack, blossoming chords and an amazing amount of sustain. When you switch to the distortion channel it completely knocks your socks off. Hard single-note riffs and solos with extra distortion sound nasty in the best way. (Tip: try Drop-D!) With this Tele you don't just want to go full throttle because of the killer sound. Also the exemplary “60s Style Oval C” neck with a 9.5” fretboard radius and 6105 frets does the rest to ensure that the guitar cannot be used purely as a collector's item. Once you play it you'll be hooked! We are delighted to be able to offer you this killer Tele, which list price was over EUR 18,000(!!!), at much more favorable conditions - and in mint condition. If you don't buy it, it's your own fault!
