We are delighted to be able to offer you not just one of these phenomenal '52 Wilson Telecasters in a beautiful “Aged Natural” finish, but two specimens of them. The interested Telecaster lover only needs to choose which wood grain and which color tone appeals to him the most, because fortunately both guitars show the same fantastic specs. Masterbuilder Dale Wilson has opted here for a lightweight ash body, a little stronger neck with a “51 U” shape (.950''-1.000''), a modern 7.25-9.5'' compound radius and the proven Narrow/Tall frets.. This really leaves nothing to be desired in terms of playing pleasure. One look at the guitar and a short sound test is enough to understand why Dale Wilson has such long waiting times and is regarded by Fender as the ultimate Tele king. Beautifully matt natural finish with just the right degree of relicing so that the guitar really looks like a real old one. The two “Handwound Twisted Tele” pickups transmit the guitar's above-average vibration behavior in the best possible way. Just the right twang, ...nicely bell-like, open and with enough mids to avoid sounding thin or shrill. This absolute highlight for all Blackguard fans is including the frets in mint condition.
