That's exactly how Tele should be!! ...this '52 Heavy Relic Tele by masterbuilder Dale Wilson has everything you could want from the perfect Telecaster: lightweight at just 3080 grams, incredibly resonant vibration behavior, killer look and Tele twang sound at its finest! Vintage look and sound come together here with modern playability. The neck feels great in the hand, even though it is on the rather strong side with its "51 U" shape and dimensions of .950''-1,000''. 7.25-9.5'' compound radius and Narrow/Tall frets make it a real joy to play. When you look at the relicing you also know why Dale Wilson has such long waiting times and is the Tele King at Fender. You have to look twice to see, if it isn't a real, old Tele. This top-quality Telecaster is completely convincing on the amp. The two "Handwound Twisted Tele" pickups transmit the vibration behavior of the guitar perfectly. Just the right twang, ...nice bell-like, open and enough mids to not sound thin or shrill. The guitar is also in top condition! An absolute highlight for all Blackguard fans.
