As soon as you open the case you can tell here that a very special guitar is present. A beautiful finish in dark 2-tone sunburst with the extremely subtle Journeyman relicing gives this Telecaster a super authentic vintage look, as you know it from real old ones from the golden 50s. The subtle aging suits the noble Tele great and already gives a foretaste of the top sound you can expect here. Nice twangy with a fast response as you would expect from a good Tele. The Handwound 51 Nocaster on the neck is pure Blues and on the bridge you can rock out with the Handwound Broadcaster as well as conjure up super twangy clean sounds. I also particularly like the intermediate position for all clean to slightly distorted sounds. With the Large-C profile and the modern 9.5''-12'' compound radius the neck feels great in the hand and plays extremely comfortably in conjunction with the proven medium jumbo frets. Of course the dream weight of this Tele with ash body of only 3160 grams also contributes to the excellent playing feel.
