Honestly ... this is exactly how a 52 Heavy Relic Blackguard Tele should look! Really incredible what Dale Wilson conjures up here for an aging masterpiece. It doesn't get any more authentic than this. You can see why you have to wait up to 5 years for such a work of art, if you can get one at all. This model also has an assorted lightweight ash body and weighs only 3120 grams. Played dry, the sun rises behind Nashville. Tele Twang pure, super attack and a great tone. The two Twisted Tele pickups transfer the top resonance to the amp in the best way. Nice and belly and pearly and never too thin or shrill. Another highlight is the neck. Nice pleasant medium Nocaster U-Shape profile, almost reminiscent of a very light, soft V-profile and fits perfectly in the hand. And for modern playing comfort, the 6105 frets and 9.5" fingerboard. The spec sheet says 4-Way Switch but the guitar has the classic 3-way switch that belongs to the 52 Tele and was bought new by the previous owner. Simply a dream Tele that meets the highest demands on look, sound and playability. Get it while you can!
