If you want a Tele in its most original form, it's best to go for an early-50s version. Here we have a 51 with a visual twist, namely gold hardware and anodized pickguard. So while some liberties have been taken from the historic model here, the feel and sound present themselves exactly as you'd expect from a 51. The neck comes with a massive U-profile - about the chunkiest we have experienced so far. It's all the more amazing how buttery smooth the guitar plays. The neck profile is so well shaped that your hand just doesn't want to get tired. Baseball bat my ass, the playability is simply world class - as is the tone.
