Who modifies Telecasters, does it really only in one way: with a humbucker on the neck. With this limited 51 HS Tele, you get this pickup configuration right out of the box. At the bridge you get a Crushed Blackguard singlecoil, at the neck a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker. As soon as you run the first notes through the amp, you realize what a great combination this is: at the bridge you can expect pure Tele twang, in the middle the perfect mix of striking treble and good poundage in the mid and bass range - and at the neck the guitar sounds like a Les Paul on steroids. The PAF-like sound of the humbucker gets an extra dose of assertiveness from the guitar's twang factor.
A special feature here is the George Blanda Wiring: with double stack pots, 500k is available as a pot for the humbucker and 250k for the single coil (see photo). In practice, this means that the pots are perfectly matched to the respective pickup, giving you a balanced control experience.
The beefy neck rounds out the playing experience with its perfectly crafted 10/56 V profile and 7.25"-9.5" compound radius. What a player! The noticeable, but not intrusive aging makes the guitar feel like a good old friend visually as well. Saying goodbye to this gem will therefore not be easy for us, but hey... we'll do anything for you ;-) You get the guitar in mint condition.
