This 52 NOS John Cruz Tele really makes me go into raptures. What a fantastic instrument. If you are looking for a Tele with the highest level of sound and can do without any relicing, you will be well served here. And honestly, it's really good to have a non-reliced guitar in the hand again. John Cruz proves once again that he belongs to the absolute upper league of guitar builders. Beautifully grained AAA flame dream neck with a super comfortable 10.5" radius and 6150 medium jumbo frets. The profile is medium to slightly beefy. This is where classic look meets modern feel, helped by the dream weight of not even 3kg. But it's the sound that really gets me. Unbelievable how this Tele swings and how balanced it sounds. Here you want to savor every note. Super pearly and still enough warmth with an, for a Tele, exceptionally good sustain. One of those guitars where you play slower and slower to enjoy every note. Sonically a hit, to which certainly also the Handwound pickups contribute! Except for a very small paint chip (see picture 14), the guitar is in top condition with no signs of play.
