Friends of the classic Tele Sound and Look watch out! Here we have a super resonant lightweight 52 Tele in the Heavy Relic version built by Greg Fessler. The AHA-effect comes with the first dry play. This Tele with only 3180 grams resonates almost like an acoustic guitar. Rarely heard a Tele that vibrates so dry. Greg Fessler took a lot of trouble in choosing the woods for this guitar. The neck is a bit stronger, but not too fat, so no boat neck, with a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets for the most modern playing comfort. You can find the exact measurements on the spec sheet. The pickups are Handwound 51 Nocaster pickups and they are switched by a 4 way switch for that little extra portion of sound variations. Soundwise simply classic Tele pure. It is really not clear whether the pickups or the woods are responsible for the above-average sound quality ... probably the successful combination of both. The Tele is in mint condition without any traces of playing on the frets. Absolute reference Tele !
