In November 2008 the Fender Custom Shop released a limited edition (100 pieces) of the replica of Yngwie Malmsteen's "PlayLoud" Stratocaster. This guitar from 1971, which accompanied the Swedish guitarist's rise to the metal Olympus, has been meticulously reconstructed by masterbuilder Mark Kendrick with all playing traces, all details and the famous "PlayLoud" sticker. We are very pleased to offer you this rarity with scalloped fretboard in heavy aged Olympic White finish. Equipped with bitterly wicked DiMarzio HS-3 pickups at bridge and neck position, a Fender-70s pickup in the middle position and an authentic large headstock it delivers smacking, fat, uncompromising hard rock sounds and with its scalloped fretboard one is just itching to indulge in fast runs and wild solos. So you have here not only a rare, extremely sought-after collector's item with considerable appreciation potential but also a super player.
