Vincent van Trigt is certainly "the" new star in the Fender Masterbuilder sky. His guitars are simply works of art. You just hardly ever get to see one, because they are so rare. What van Trigt delivers here in terms of aging is simply reference class! The "Aged Lake Placid Blue" color is spot on and even the color differences under the plastic parts are accurately reproduced. This Strat comes from the limited Wildwood 10 series. What's special here is the 10" radius, which makes for a modern feel. Simply great, you don't want to put it down. 6105 frets and a Wildwood Builders Choice neck shape. A bit more powerful, but not really fat, feels great in the hand. Josefina Handwounds are used as pickups. And they fit perfectly to the resonant light weight body (guitar weighs only 3015 grams). The guitar sounds just like it looks ... like 50 years played in. Bell tone at its finest and very round and balanced. Wonderful tone and beautiful silky, not too peaky treble. Simply a masterpiece in terms of sound and aging. The guitar is from 2021 and in absolute best condition.
