I can warmly recommend this "Limited 58 Journeyman/Closet Classic" Strat to every player. Right away I have to talk about the neck. This flame neck made of 3A roasted maple not only looks great, but is also a joy to play! With its wooden feel due to the lacquer-free back, the 54 Strat Soft-V profile, the proven Narrow/Tall frets and the 9.5" fingerboard radius it plays as if by itself. The body is of assorted ash, comes in the most beautiful "Chocolate 3 Color Sunburst" and subtle Journeyman/Closet Classic aging. Beautifully resonant, which is immediately noticeable when you play it dry. Handwound Tomatillos are used as pickups. With their Alnico-II magnets, which produce the authentic sound of aged Alnico-V magnets from the 1950s, they deliver absolutely authentic vintage sounds and demonstrate wonderful clarity and purity, adding a certain amount of treble chime to the sound. Fat, rich and with a stable bass foundation, sparkling highs and a crisp attack at the amp. In addition the oppositely wound and polarized middle pickup keeps the intermediate positions free of background noise. David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler would have a field day here!
