This Eric Clapton Strat in the Journeyman version with a Sunburst finish comes from a limited series and is virtually impossible to find in the masterbuilt version. What's more, only very few of them were built by Todd Krause, “the” Clapton masterbuilder par excellence. Todd Krause is not only responsible for Clapton's personal stage guitars, but was also the preferred masterbuilder of Blues rockers Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower and many more. When we first tested it, we immediately noticed that the V-profile here is not as extreme as on many other Clapton Strats, almost inconspicuous, and the neck is also slightly more powerful. Very authentic and much closer to the real, old Strats. The excellent vibration behavior of the ash body is transmitted very dynamically and powerfully by the Noiseless pickups without any humming or background noise. For us this is one of the best Clapton Strats we've ever played on an amp! Great playing feel and the classic Strat sounds in the very best quality. Certainly including TBX Tone Control and Active Mid Boost. Slowhand fans will be in for a real treat, because even slow playing is really fun here. Mention should also be made of the very authentic, discreet relicing, which gives the guitar a wonderful vintage look. The Stratocaster is including the frets in mint condition. Great looks, top league sound and great playability!
