These Carved Top Strats are now already sought-after collector models! It was the first attempt by the Fender Custom Shop to bring a so-called Super Strat on the market. And here we also have the extremely rare version with the Fender Lic Floyd Rose locking tremolo, which together with the roller saddle and the locking tuners provides the best tuning stability. The pickups used are a Seymour Duncan Zebra on the bridge and two Texas Special single coils. The body is ash with the beautifully figured Carved Top on top. The Birds Eye Maple Neck with the Rosewood fingerboard plays like itself. Very modern feel. Sound-wise, we simply have a top all-around Strat. Fat, singing lead sounds, open, differentiated rock riffs, or the typical Bell-Tone single coil sound ... everything is possible here. According to the low serial number, we have a very early 1996 Carved Top and they were shipped without a certificate back then, too. The guitar is in very well kept and good condition except for a few minor dings and dongs and belt buckle scratches. The frets have almost no play marks.
