This gold piece has really done it to me ! 69 Relic Strat by Greg Fessler in Firemist Gold. Only 50 pieces of this guitar from the "Builder Select" series were built. Greg Fessler has captured the spirit, sound and handling of an original '69 Strat and adapted it to modern playing conditions with modern aspects like 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets. Super gerelict ... countless hairline cracks that give a different look from every angle. The Mid 60's Oval C profile feels great in the hand. For pickups, my instant favorite CS combination of a Custom Shop Handwound 69 neck, CS Handwound Fat 50's middle and a Handwound Texas Special at the bridge. The guitar resonates super well and the pickups hold all variations from Hendrix Bell Tone to Gallagher Rock Brett at the bridge. Very good all-around Strat that is just a lot of fun to play. Super condition ! And all that almost for the price of a Team Built Strat!
