With this extremely rare 69 Heavy Relic Strat, Dale Wilson simply outdoes himself. The first thing you notice here is that the guitar was not gaged with a template, which gives it a unique, super-authentic look. This is exactly how a real old Strat looks that has been played a lot! To me, this aging is truly a work of art. It's not for nothing that Dale Wilson has the longest wait in the custom store. And the sound is in no way inferior to the looks. The Handwound fat 60's pickups work in perfect harmony with the great vibration response of the guitar. Great, bell-like, warm, differentiated bell tone at its finest. Super dynamic and with the slight compression known from the real old Strats. Very comfortable medium 60's style oval C neck with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. And the end-60's look with the large headstock and F-style tuners is just killer! This is where I really get into raptures. A 69 Wilson is almost impossible to get and if you don't want to wait 5 years ... here is the unique opportunity!
