This 64 Masterbuilt Heavy Relic Strat in Lake Placid Blue is not only an eye-catcher but also a ear-catcher! Here hides behind the top vintage look a modern player with the best vintage sound characteristics. The aging could not be better and the Lake Placid Blue with the white primer is exactly on point. A special feature is the 12" fingerboard radius, which is very positively noticeable from the first time you take it in your hand. As with the colleagues from Suhr or Tom Anderson, the guitar plays very easily and nothing stands in the way of bends even with low string action. And the 60's style Oval C radius, the 6105 frets and the super dark AAA Rosewood fingerboard combine the vintage sound with the most modern feel. Plays like butter! And by the sound are back in the 60's. Belly, pearly, balanced vintage sound with a spiky dynamic. The Handwound Fat 60 pickups fit the guitar perfectly.
