With this Strat Ron Thorn shows once again impressively why he carries the title "Principal Masterbuilder" in the Fender Custom Shop. What a player Strat! This 64 in heavily reliced shell pink comes with ultra-comfortable 12" neck radius, "Modern C" neck profile and 6105 jumbo frets, so you really get the maximum of modern playing comfort here. Within a very short time, the guitar feels more like a natural extension of the arms than an instrument. Already very lively when dry, the Handwound Poblano pickups on the amp provide a crisp, direct and assertive sound. Enough belly for typical Strat blues is of course also present, because the Rosewood finish provides just the right amount of warmth. Killer sound for those who like a fast attack! Add to that the fantastic aging and the special Shell Pink color - if you like slightly eccentric Strats, you should be very happy with this guitar.
