We are pleased to offer you a very special 63 Stratocaster from masterbuilder legend John English. Very rare, in Black over 3 Tone Sunburst. The special thing about this Strat is that it keeps the classic vintage feel of the real old Strats. With a 7.25" radius and vintage frets, you get the feel of a pre CBS Strat and the 3 custom shop pickups combined with the super vibration response reproduce all the classic vintage sounds. You really get the feeling this Strat has been played for 50 years. Real tone monster! It even has that typical slight compression and warmth of the real pre CBS Strats Very characteristic bell-like "bell tone" with enough mids and a woody base character. Plus a super authentic look, not over geaged. John English masterfully shows here how to transfer real old vintage feel to newer custom store Strats. The neck is a bit beefier. The guitar is in great condition and the frets have only very light play marks on the first 3 frets.
