Since masterbuilder Dale Wilson has not been accepting new orders for some time now and the waiting time for his works of art runs more than six years also our inventory of Wilson guitars has shrunk considerably. Therefore we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you here this absolute killer Strat from the house of Wilson. The first thing that catches your eye is of course its awesome look. Black-over 3-tone sunburst, perfectly harmonizing with the darkened quartersawn maple of the neck. Countless hairline cracks, significant abrasion and numerous quirks in the appropriate places give this guitar a look as if it's been pounded really hard for decades. The midnight black African Blackwood fingerboard is also a visual highlight. The slightly beefier 60s-Style Oval-C profile combined with the higher Stewmac 0155 frets and a 9.5" fretboard radius delivers the very best in super-comfortable playing. Handwound Poblanos are used as pickups, which really get everything out of the guitar. Smacking, bell-like, incredibly direct and nuanced - whether clean chords or distorted Rock riffs, here you get all sounds to kneel down!
