As is known by now, Carlos Lopez has left the Fender Custom Shop and thus his last works have of course a considerable rarity value. But above all, the instruments he created stand for phenomenal look and great sound. This is also the case with this '63 Stratocaster Heavy Relic 2-Tone Sunburst, the sight of which inevitably makes you think of old Stratocasters from the golden years of music history: wonderfully rocked out with the appropriate quirks in the right places and a convincing vintage patina. This super resonant beauty with AAA Rosewood fingerboard reveals its above-average vibration behavior even when played dry, which is excellently transferred to the amp by the Handwound Fat 60s. Warm basses, rich mids and velvety highs that superbly capture the classic sound of the old pickups from the 60s. Bell tone, warm and differentiated with plenty of dynamics, optimal for all Blues and Rock fans. On top of that the 60s-style Oval-C neck with 7.25" radius combined with the 45085 vintage upgrade frets, which are slightly fatter than the classic vintage frets, provides optimal, authentic vintage feeling with best playing comfort. We are pleased to offer you this Strat from 2021 in mint condition with no playing marks on the frets.
