What a killer Strat! This 63 Heavy Relic Strat from Dale Wilson was a special order from Musikhaus Hermann. Jörg Hermann hand-selected the woods for this Strat together with Dale Wilson and that's why it was also offered under the name "The Wood" Strat by Musikhaus Hermann. Both visually and sonically simply a reference Strat. Dream weight with only 3270 grams and super resonant. The 65 C-Shape neck is a bit more grippy, but not really fat. Plays great with the perfectly aligned Stew Mac 155 frets. Add to that an extra dark AAA rosewood fingerboard, compound radius and the heavy rolled fingerboard edges. Handwound/handsigned Josefina Campos "Poblanos" pickups are used here. And this Strat not only looks like Stevie Ray Vaughan, but also goes in the bluesy, warm, belly direction sonically. Texas Blues Bell-Tone at its best! The whole thing is rounded off by the unbeatable Dale Wilson Aging and the black pickguard! 100 points Strat! And the waiting times at Dale Wilson are now 6 years and at the moment there is even an order stop at Dale Wilson because of the long waiting times. So, who still wants to secure a Dale WIlson dream Strat, should not hesitate too long here.
