At first glance this rocked-out beauty looks like a classic '62 Strat in a traditional Black finish. But if you take a closer look at the guitar and its spec sheet, a few special features come to light. Firstly, it is ultra-reliced, something you don't see too often from senior masterbuilder Todd Krause. In combination with the greenguard and deep dark rosewood fingerboard it looks extremely good and is also somewhat reminiscent of the look of John Mayer's "Black One"! On the other hand, this Strat has great features such as a 9.5'' fingerboard radius, 6105 frets and a stronger "Large C" neck profile, which guarantees the very best playability. The three "Handwound 62/63" singlecoils including RWRP to suppress noise provide a rich, warm yet transparent and bell-like vintage 60s sound par excellence. Defined, clear, but also beautifully bulbous. This Stratocaster resonates, is super balanced and has very good sustain. You definitely want to savor every note! All in all, a perfect combination of a beautiful look, the best vintage tone and outstanding handling, as we know and love from master Todd Krause.
