Here we have a very special Aged Olympic White 62 Strat with a few upcharge options that we really only find on Masterbuilts. Super authentic aging ...yes, this is what a real old Strat looks like! The pickups are John Cruz/Josefina Handwound Fat 50's, which provide that classic, pearly, bell-like Strat sound at its finest. The fretboard is a fat AAA slabboard fretboard and the 10" fretboard radius provides best modern playing comfort . The neck profile is more on the beefy side, but still not really fat. Optimal for all who are looking for a grippy neck that feels great in the hand. True playing pleasure also comes from the Jescar 57110 frets, which are a bit fatter than the 6105 frets. The previous owner replaced the original Fender saddles with Highwood Saddles, which is noticeable with a super comfortable hand rest. The original saddles are included and can of course be remounted at any time. At the amp, the Cruz Josefina pickups convince all along the line. In the clean sound range John Mayer pure ...warm, bell-like, pearly. And in the distorted range the sun rises here. Hendrix meets Stevie Ray! I highly recommend this Strat to anyone looking for Masterbuilt quality and sound at a great price. The first frets have some slight play marks, otherwise the Strat is in top condition.
